Operating out of an aging building, our client was quickly outgrowing the space. The decision to construct was ultimately made following the flood of 2010. Our team collaborated with Guthrie to build a state-of-the-art, fully functional facility. Equipped for increased capacity, the expanded space allows our client to deliver more services all in a single location thus eliminating the need for patients to visit multiple facilities for treatment.
Permits from the Department of Health were delayed, which impacted access to site utilities. Worked closely with Owner and sub-contractors to accelerate the schedule allowing the project to be completed as originally planned. The new single-story greenfield facility, built on 20 acres of farmland property, includes 18 exam rooms, business offices, 5 staff offices, as well as radiology and mammography departments.
Project Highlights
- The new MOB was designed as a pre-engineered steel, joist and deck structural with structural stud backup, EPDM roofing, masonry façade, Guthrie standard interior finishes, and MEP/FP systems all constructed on a green field site to replace the aging and flood destroyed facility.
