The consolidation combined the district’s three campuses and administrative offices to one campus, effectively reducing the overall facilities operating budget. The high school campus was upgraded to accommodate the middle school students. In addition, district-wide improvements were made to health and safety, IT and security, energy saving initiatives, and new classrooms such as a science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
Welliver assisted the district during the pre-referendum and pre-construction phases, identifying cost-saving opportunities, reviewing construction means and methods, and developing bid strategies to help reduce the chance for change orders and create the opportunity for a smooth project execution.
