Ryan Bettis Joins Welliver as Assistant Project Manager

Welliver is pleased to welcome Ryan Bettis as Assistant Project Manager.

Bettis has always been drawn to the idea of revitalizing communities, making buildings useful again, and seeing the results of a built facility. Getting ‘behind the scenes’ of construction is his passion. In his role as assistant project manager, he will assist in the day-to-day operation on the construction site, coordinate subcontractors, and oversee labor. In addition, Bettis will apply his skills in organizing, estimating, scheduling, and value engineering to navigate the ever-changing construction landscape and find new ways to solve problems and build more efficiently.

“Construction is a growth industry. There is great opportunity for young professionals to build a rewarding career,” said Anne Welliver-Hartsing, President. “We look forward to Ryan’s energy and pleased to add him to our project management team. We’re happy to invest in someone who wants to become an integral part of the team and help move our projects forward.”

Previously, Bettis worked as project engineer for a regional construction company in their general construction division. He gained valuable experience working with project managers and superintendents in all facets of construction as well as collaborating with a variety of trades and A/E firms. Bettis laid the foundation of his career with smaller residential projects and worked his way up to multi-million dollar commercial/industrial projects as well as heavy civil and highway construction projects.

“Welliver has a reputation in the construction industry for developing high caliber, experienced individuals who build quality projects,” said Bettis. “I believe experience is one of the most valuable traits in construction. Welliver is providing an opportunity to learn and build upon my strengths that will ultimately create a successful construction experience for our clients as well as positively impact our communities.”
