Richard Hoglund Joins Welliver as Project Manager

Welliver is pleased to welcome Richard Hoglund as Project Manager.

Hoglund is driven to make things happen. Leveraging a life-long interest in creating change, he chose to build a career in construction. A desire to get out in the field, collaborate with colleagues, and watch a project evolve from a conceptual design to a completed functional building is what attracted Hoglund to the industry. In his role as project manager, Hoglund will bring a high level of skill in project management, team building, safety management, subcontractor coordination, scheduling and budgets, as well as adapting to the client’s needs to make the construction process as smooth as possible.

“Building collaborative teams is an important component of our business model,” said Anne Welliver-Hartsing, President. “Rick will bring valuable hands-on experience and an understanding of client-centric relationships that will enhance our project management efforts to generate growth and change.”

Previously, Hoglund worked for a regional general contractor as a project manager and safety director where he cut his teeth in owner and subcontractor relations, value engineering, quality control, field inspection, as well as managing OSHA safety regulatory requirements to ensure a safe work environment for employees, owners, and the greater community.

“What gives me a sense of accomplishment is moving raw materials, interpreting the design, constructing a new building from the ground up, and looking up at a completed project knowing I helped to build something lasting,” said Hoglund. “I look forward to contributing to the growth of Welliver and being a part of the process.”
